Athletic club hosts road race
Inverclyde Athletic Club hosts the Renfrewshire AAA Road Race Championships at the Battery Park, Greenock this Sunday.
Kids removed from schools 600 times
EXCLUSIONS from Inverclyde's schools fell by a fifth over the past year - but teachers still removed youngsters from classes almost 600 times. Latest figures from the Scottish Government reveal there were 594 exclusions in 2010/11 compared with 756 in 2009/10 - a fall of around 21 per cent.

Indoor cricket club under way
INVERCLYDE Cricket Club have announced the start of their indoor practices. It will commence on Sunday from 10am to noon at the Lady Octavia Sports Centre, and will continue at the same time every Sunday until the season starts at the end of April.
